Dr. Anil Mukerjee elected as a Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Tomography.

Dr. Anil Mukerjee is the first Cardiologist in the state of New Hampshire to receive this distinguished designation. There are 102 physicians and scientists around the globe currently hold the Fellow of the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (FSCCT) designation.
The Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography (SCCT) is the international professional society representing physicians, scientists and technologists advocating for research, education and clinical excellence in the use of cardiovascular computed tomography, for the benefit of improved patient care. There are 3,500 members globally.
SCCT is working on behalf of patients to ensure access to cardiovascular computed tomography, the most accurate and cost effective non-invasive diagnostic imaging test for the detection of coronary artery disease - the number one killer of men and women in the US.
Dr. Mukerjee became an active member of the medical staff ( Cardiology ) at Littleton Regional Hospital in 1996 after completing his cardiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital - Harvard Medical School in Boston.
He is also board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, nuclear cardiology, cardiac CT and echocardiography. Dr. Mukerjee completed cardiac CT training at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, Maryland and is trained in cardiac PET from Massachusetts General Hospital.
Dr. Mukerjee is a Fellow of American Board of Internal Medicine, American Board of Cardiology, American Society of Nuclear Cardiology, American Society of Echocardiography and played a key role in overseeing the process of LRH achieving Intersocietal Commission for the Accreditation of Echocardiography, certification for the echocardiography laboratory at LRH.
