LRH Registered Nurse Recipient of Make Yourself Proud Fund Gift
December 21, 2011
When the late Honorable Judge Peter W. Smith passed away his family wanted to do something meaningful in his memory- something that would make him proud, so they established the Judge Peter W. Smith Make Yourself Proud Fund with a donation to the Littleton Regional Hospital Charitable Foundation.
The Fund will provide an annual gift to a nurse at Littleton Regional Hospital for their dedication to the patients at LRH and devotion to the nursing profession. This is something that would have made the late Judge Peter Smith very proud. The name of a nurse is drawn in the month of the anniversary of Judge and Mrs. Smith's wedding. Melanie Child, LNA at LRH in the medical/surgical unit was the second recipient of the "Make Yourself Proud Fund" gift from the Fund.
This fund is one of many endowments, memorial and honor funds established in honor or memory of a family member or friend through the LRH Charitable Foundation. For more information about the LRH Charitable Foundation, please call Gail Clark, Director of Community Relations at (603) 444-9304.
